Workspaces & teams
Separate spaces for your life, your family, and your work — and how to share them.
Everything in Stateful lives inside a workspace — its own context, its own connected sources, its own conversations. You can have several and switch between them freely, so your work life and home life stay cleanly separated.
Workspace kinds
When you create a workspace you pick a kind, which tailors its layout and templates:
- Personal — just you.
- Family — a shared household space.
- Work — a team space.
Create a new one any time, switch with the workspace switcher, and rename it if you're an admin. Switching swaps your whole context — connections and wiki included.
Inviting people
Family and work workspaces are shared. Invite people with a link and give each person a role:
- Admin — full control, including members and settings.
- Editor — can read and edit the shared context.
- Viewer — can read.
You can remove members, leave a workspace, or transfer ownership to someone else.
Connecting sources for a team
In a work workspace, an admin can connect a source for everyone — so the whole team's context draws on a shared source without each person wiring it up themselves. Personal connections stay personal; shared ones are clearly marked.
